My name is Wei Wen(伟文) and I am a young Singaporean currently living in Hong Kong working in the Finance field. I opened this simple blog because, well, I found websites on anything to do with money really hard to understand. Thus, I opened this blog so as to encourage myself and others to study about money and make it simple for each other to understand.

Throughout my life, I found that Finance is such an interesting topic. Think about it, a huge portion of your life is spent doing something you might not even like to do everyday, just for some piece of paper that allows you to exchange for other stuff in the market. It can make people do altruistic good, yet also commit the most despicable acts in life. It can humble someone, yet make another person lose himself.

Having grown up in an amazing family with less than amazing finances, I learnt that finance can limit me if I allow it to do so, or push me to stretch my imagination. It can fill me with jealousy yet also make me feel contented at the same time. Finance was a man-made solution for the easy exchange of goods yet it brought along a whole new set of issues. It is truly one of life's greatest mystery.

In this blog, I will explore all things Finance, in a layman, non expert's opinion manner. I am also highly fascinated with the world of Blockchain Technology, Cryptocurrency Investing. I think it is the way forward and I will be focusing on this aspect a lot.

 

Lastly, I am a highly motivated, daring go-getter, with a strong zest for life. I love to travel and I am always up for new experiences and meeting new people. I can speak English, Mandarin, Hokkien and I am picking up Cantonese. Used to be able to do a little bit of Japanese too.
